Back in business

Ol’ eArThworm is back in the saddle…or rather, back on the keyboard…again.  I’ve added three new books under Appalachian Trail–Memoirs:

Barnes, David M.  Faithful’s Journey on the Appalachian Trail. North Charleston, S.C.: CreateSpace, 2010.

Davis, Jennifer Pharr.  Becoming Odyssa: Epic Adventures on the Appalachian Trail. New York: Beaufort Books, 2010.

Purdy, James C.  Just Walking: The Zen of the Appalachian Trail. Newton Falls, Mass:  Upper Falls Press, 2010.

and two new books under Food & Cooking:

Sailer, Dave.  Fire in Your Hand: Dave’s Little Guide to Ultralight Backpacking Stoves. North Charleston, S.C.:  CreateSpace, 2008.

This is a longer book than “Make Your Fire”  It has 32 chapters including stories and a lexicon and other information in addition to the how-to-make-some-stoves chapters.  You can read the complete description at http://stores.lulu.com/ultralight where Dave says, “If you just want a simple guide to making stoves, buy a copy of ‘Make Your Fire’…”–which is also described at that site.  If you go to Amazon.com and look up these two titles, you can ‘see inside’ them and take a look at the table of contents, etc. to get a better idea of what each one covers.

Sailer, Dave.  Make Your Fire: Dave’s Little Guide to Making Ultralight Backpacking Stoves. North Charleston, S.C.:  CreateSpace,         2008.
