Hi,
I, too, am a librarian interested in books for the AT. I'd like to know more about you, and your book and hiking projects.

I section hike the AT and collect AT books from Anna Porter Public Library in Gatlinburg, where I am the director.

I just finished this year's AT hike and am now complete from Springer to Hampton TN (Kincora Hostel)

Please email me off your page at kt@annaporterpl.org.

btw, I'm a 59 yr old female, live in Knoxville and work in Gatlinburg.

Hoping to see from you,

Kenton Temple (aka Turtle Mom)

Linda.....GREAT SITE, and an invaluable resource for those like me; hooked on the AT ! Best of luck, hope to meet you on the trail someday.

BTW, I stumbled on another great AT book, Chained Dogs and Songbirds, by O.D. Coyote. He also had an article published in the Appalachian Trailway News entitled:
Slackpacking Revisited. Highly recommended reading...
